TPN Connection: 2:00-3:15pm Welcome all members!! We would like to use this brief social to get to know each other and network. During this connection, we will introduce our new TPN chair and chair-elect as well as our excellent officers. We will also use this time to recognize our past Chair and officers. Relationship Building Activities
TPN Dinner: 6:00pm (Hosted by Dr. Yi-Jiun Lin) Place: Malaysia Kopitiam (1827 M Street Northwest Washington D.C) From the convention center or the United Methodist Church to Malaysia Kopitiam (1827 M Street Northwest Washington D.C) By taxi (about 5 minutes)- need to ask the taxi driver By bus (18 minutes)- $1 dollar Walk to the intersection of New York Avenue and 9^th Street, take the DC circulator (Georgetown-Union Station west bound-orange line) to the stop of K. Street/19^th Street, then walk north for two blocks to M. Street, turn right and you will see the restaurant on your left. By metro (17 minutes)-$1.85 dollars (with SmarTrip card $1.60) Walk to Gallery Place Chinatown Metro Station (about 9 minutes), take red line subway toward Shady Grove direction, get off at Farragut North Metro Station, Head north on Connecticut Ave NW toward L St NW, and Turn left onto M St NW, and you will see the restaurant on your right. Business Meeting 10:45am-12:15pm TPN officers will provide an annual report and then discuss the goals as well as tasks to be accomplished for the upcoming year.
